Kanzashi flowers
Here are some Kanzashi flowers that I made tonight to put onto a Halloween bag I'm making. I've made these kanzashi flowers using black netting. Not the easiest material to work with... the petals didn't end up looking like a traditional kanzashi flower-- but I love them just the same. Wouldn't these be fabulous on a woven handbag or beach hat??? You could even put them on sandals! The photo is dark -- sowwy-- for the life of me, I couldn't get them to photograph well this late at night. Anywho, the center is a rolled up piece of netting that I knotted and fed through the opening of the petals.~Here is a photo of a kanzashi flower that I made for my grandaughter Chloe. You can read more about that post here. I used some vintage dotted swiss fabric. I used a blingie button for the center of this one.
