Paperie Party

Paper,paper,paper...Don't ya just lurve paper? New paper, scrapbook paper, newspaper, old-old antique/vintage paper... I love paper! I am lucky when it comes to finding old books for around a buck (most pictured here are from the late 1800's early 1900's) You would think with all the folding, tearing, ripping and cutting that that wasn't the case..... paper in some cases even smells good. To me a musty old book smells divine! Lets face it.... paper, scissors and glue... and the world is yours! I've created a slideshow with some of the gazillion things I've created using paper and other things~

If your wanting to see more paperie party fun... grab a low calorie cupcake...and head on over to The French Cupboard.

  1. I have always used newspaper for wrapping gifts and then it really came in handy when I wrapped everything in my friends office when he went on vacation!....EVERYTHING! Not sure I can do the musty smell, but being that I worked in a printing company for over 21 yrs...I love the smell of ink on that paper.

  3. Oh my gosh... I love the smell of paper too! One of my favorite things about old libraries is the smell. My husband always makes fun of me when I'm shopping for old books or manuscripts and he sees me smelling it!

  6. I have never seen a paper covered typewriter before.
Amazing things you do with paper.
I still find it hard to rip up old books, but trashy novels are a joy to trash.
