I have no idea what I'm going to be making out of those circled doo-dads I've been making. Sometimes you just need a non-thinking kinda busy work while your watching television. :-) Here is a photo of the 1927 year book that I purchased a couple of days ago....along with an old clock parts book and some Christmas books, sheet music and an old 1920's program from a play called "The Miracle" Fun stuff....thats probably going to sit on a shelf along with all the other fun stuff~
the books are neat and the doo daa things give them as gifts.

The doo dads could be used for labels on gifts. Use a black marker and write their name on it,and then use the two holes and thread beautiful ribbon through and tie it to a gift wrapped in a simpler paper.
ReplyDeleteI have lots of old sheet music from my active piano playing days. I love old books and things like that. Thanks for sharing.

I just wanted to say thank you for the suggestion about writing the story of how my aunts tray came back to me on the back of the tray. I would never have thought of that! I will be cutting and pasting the trays story tonight!
ReplyDeleteWell the doo dads are very cute. Embellish them anyway you wish. List them on etsy.
ReplyDeleteHow did you make the finge?
I don't understand about the crape paper. You wind it around you finger and tape it but how? LOL I'm usually quicker than this.
