Show & Tell Friday~

Here are two small paintings I recently bought at one of our local thrift stores. The frames are solid wood frames that have a richly carved look to them. They set me back a whopping $4 dollars each. *big grin* One is a painting of a cat... (I adore cats)
the other a dog~ I have no idea where I'm going to put them, but I thought they were pretty funny and super cute...and for a total of $8 bucks, I couldn't pass them up!This Show & Tell is hosted by: Kelli over @ http://kellishouse.blogspot.com/

So cute and I always envy people with neat thrift stores---I must make myself explore further from home and find some neat thrift stores. Although a Goodwill is having its grad opening this week in my town---there may be some hope?!

I love the kitty pic! Of course I have a huge collection of cats atop my kitchen cabinets. The frames are great too! Thanks for the word tip! I know I've heard of ephemera, but didn't really know what it meant.

I like cats too, but I make 'em live in the barn...am I mean? I never would have done that when I was a kid. Old and cranky maybe?

Oh yeah. They ARE great. Things like that make me want to get my hands on them. Feel the finsh, you know. What type of finish is that? Very good job at the thrift store, lady.
