Pirate Pinatas

I picked up two pinatas recently for $2.00 each. With pirate season fast approaching, I figured I could turn them into pirate pinatas for my two grandkids to crack open at their pirate party. This one is from the show "El Chavo del Ocho"... you might recognize the character. Here is the before....

here is the after photo... Now the little fella is a cute pirate!

Lets not mince words, this next pinata was U.G.L.Y. It looks as though the arms and legs were amputated, and then someone added clown makeup to the face--- scarey. The top of the head has two round things sticking out of it... like it once had antlers? weird.

It took some work, but I transformed it into a Hello Kitty pirate pinata. Ah, much better...

I added round styrofoam balls to the arms and legs and then covered that with tissue paper. Easy peasy.
big hugs,

  7. This Pirate pinata is so cute. When the kids were small, my mom always had a pinata at her house for special ocassions. Bringing back sweet memories for me. Happy weekend.
